QBOB - Persian Takeout Restaurant

This place has amazing food, their platter for 6 is so delicious and is a very reasonable price. I've also tried their yogurt drink and saffron rice pudding which were also really good. Their customer service is over the top with how nice they are and always offering to bring more bread, sauce, etc. very kind people. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

One of those amazing secret hole in the wall places that makes the best food! Been here a few times now and I cannot stop raving about it. It’s a small space, so we’ve only ever gotten takeout. And I wish they had more regular hours, but still the food is amazing. Most recently ordered the koobideh for delivery and the only disappointment was that it didn’t come with the sumac. The meat is so juicy and tender and the rice is so flavourful. This is my favourite Persian food spot in London! Update: we also had the sultani meal and the barg (steak) was so tender. I’m drooling just thinking about it. Such high quality at such a good price point

I decided to try out a new restaurant for dinner and I'm so happy that I did. I ordered the Vaziri and an extra portion of rice plus a side order of Maust-O-Khiar. The food was packed neatly and securely, the portions were great and the food was still hot when it got delivered even though I live on the other end of the city. The rice was also fluffy and buttery and the grilled tomato and pickles with the kebobs were delish. I would say though, that I would have loved to have tasted a bit more seasoning on the Koobideh without having to add my own but not the biggest deal as it's still tasty as is! My meal also came with a free order of Shole Zard which was a nice treat after the entree. Will definitely be ordering again

Delicious food, very tender meats, fresh and like homemade, generous portions and super kind owners. I’m so happy that I found Qbob. Will sure be ordering takeout and catering. This is a takeout place. No sit down but the owner was kind enough to allow us to eat in.

5 stars! Smelled so good, almost didn’t make it home without eating it in the car. I tried their Koobideh Kabob. Great price, generous portions, and of course, great taste. Can’t wait to try their other dishes next time. Will definitely be going back soon.

Sometimes people say they want a “mom and pop shop” restaurant experience, but they are not always easy to find. QBOB is definitely one of those! The lovely family that run it are a mom and pop and their son. I had vaziri kebab (one chicken breast kebab and one koobideh kebab). Excellent charcoal flavour. Beautiful rice. Top notch garlic sauce that must have been homemade. I ate in, but there is only one table here and it will sit like four people haha. It’s in the basement behind the building. The owners were most welcoming that I ate in, but you may wish to plan to take away as a backup!

Hidden gem in London, so glad me and my partner tried it! The food was amazing, we absolutely loved it and will most definitely be returning for more. If youre looking for tasty Persian cuisine in London, dont hesitate to try Qbob!

I can't say anything but good things about QBOB. It was my first time going there and was welcomed by the friendly staff. It's a cozy place in the basement where I had a few minutes for my order to be ready. We got the platter for 2 which includes 2 skewers of chicken kebab, 2 skewers of koobideh kebab, rice, tomatoes, and pickles. They gave me complimentary "roasted eggplants" AKA kashke bademjan that was so good it teleported me back to the local restaurants of northern Iran in Gilan. Everything was so delicious that makes me want to eat here every weekend.
